Image via WikipediaI don’t agree that Wenger has ‘Lied’ to us Arsenal fans. He has always kept his cards close to his chest and he more likely made positive comments about Eduardo in case the deal fell through. He was being respectful unlike the Barca lot who have been quite frankly despicable throughout the Cesc Fabregas saga and are still at it now! I cannot believe FIFA/UEFA/CNUTS etc have not stepped in and given Barca a good seeing to. Rossel even admitted that Barca have upset Arsenal with their behaviour and i can only think that to show how things should be done in the football business, the Arsenal Board are quietly launching a major complaint to the authorities about the whole thing. Going back to Wenger’s rather misinterpreted statements about Eduardo i still strongly believe that it was a case of staying positive about the possible future of all players until any deals have been signed sealed and delivered. As a Gooner i hate all the secrecy and constant waiting around for valid confirmation of who Wenger is going for in the Transfer market and who’s leaving, but i also understand he has always been the same purely because he is probably the most professional footballing business manager in the world of football. Just look at how stable Arsenal are financially compared to the other big teams and AFC are still run in the traditional way, just as they were 100 years ago and have remained a top 4 team consistently since 1998. When/If the cack hits the propeller financially in football, AFC will be the only big club standing I promise you! Wenger keeps things shtum because blabbing about who you’re going for too soon only makes the target clubs up their prices or one of the big spending debt ridden clubs come and poach the player from you before you can even rustle up a decent guff. I trust Wenger, i always have, i don't think the majority of Arsenal fans took his comments about Eduardo the wrong way. We all wish Eduardo the best and if we’re honest, he's no longer the player he used to be following that disgusting Roy Keane style tackle from a skilfully inept bollock-head of a defender . I only hope that Aaron Ramsey’s form is not affected by his horrendous injury from another furrow browed thug of a player. What are your thoughts? How do the neutrals see it? Do they feel the same way about their clubs managers?...over to you!

Thanks Pat! It's only a baby at the moment and will take a while to build up followers such as yourself and it's nice to have someone else who don't mind getting in their two pennies worth! The blog is of course about all sorts of topics, not just AFC related stuff but i'll no doubt rant about my beloved Gunners on a regular basis still!
